I can't believe I woke up without a hangover!
Don't really want this day, or this month to end.
Drove around. Beautiful day! Gorgeous clouds.
Picked up a few movies to get my fix of flicks:
"Fast Food Nation"
"The Fountain" (Still makes me cry)
"Superbad"
"Factory Girl"
"The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada"
Here's a trailer that made me laugh out loud from the Coen Brothers, Brad Pitt and George Cloony. It looks awesome!
The World Famous Jerry Lentz
What you are about to become obsessed with is completely true.

Wow! What a crazy day!
Today I met up with Matt, my best friend from when I was in the 7th and 8th Grade. We haven't seen or spoken to each other since then, so there was a lot of catching up.
We both look so different now.
But we seemed to fall right back in to place. Picked it right up. I can't believe I was so nervous about seeing him.
After dinner we went downtown and walked around. He showed me places we used to hang around that I had either forgotten or had been demolished. It was great seeing him! I hope we stay in touch.
Then there was a little party at a beautiful home where I met several people who were funny, crazy, wild and drunk. We talked and drank margaritas in the backyard as lightning lit up the dark skies.
I saw cool old custom cars.
I saw a basement wet bar decorated with old album covers.
I saw a Grandma doing cartwheels.
I saw big naked boobies!
It was the BEST B'Day this whole year!!!

Today is the start of my 2 Day B'Day Celebration!!!
The 29th and 30th are my Birthdays because Hospital Records show both dates. Weird, I know, but maybe I was born near Midnight, or I was a long baby.
I don't know what I'm going to do, but a few nice people have offered to spend time with me, that's good! There are promises of cocktails, but I'm my own designated driver, so I must be careful!
I'm getting nice B'Day Comments on MySpace!
My Best Friend from the 7th Grade is meeting up with me for dinner tomorrow. I haven't seen him since then. We have a lot to catch up on!
I have so much to be thankful for, so many wishes have come true, so many nice gifts, How could I ever be sad?
Maybe this next year of my life, I'll be better at dealing with the sad feelings that sometimes engulf me.
Thanks to Tracy for this:

Was out driving at 3AM this morning and fog was rolling in and it was so hypnotic in the way it glowed as my headlights lit it and my car passed through it.
It was so dark, then these bright wisps of cotton fog envelope the car and you couldn't see anything for several feet, suddenly it would open up to darkness again.
Pulling up a small hill was like a plane rising out of a cloud layer, the sky was Black and full of sparkles and I caught sight of a shooting star.
Yes, I made a wish!
Even if it doesn't come true, just thinking up this special wish was enough pleasure!

My niece is becoming a filmmaker too!
This is her video about her travels. Her sisters are in it and even I make an appearance!
Check it out!

Had a strange dream.
I was walking around looking at beautiful old buildings and every time I stopped to talk to someone from that building, they would say, "Oh, enjoy it while you can. It's being demolished in a few days."
It was very sad and as the dream was going, I knew it meant something other than buildings.
Maybe it's about me changing, or learning new things, or growing older, I dunno.

I wonder how high gas prices will get before people have to stop driving?
What will it be like if all trucks stop delivering?
Planes stop flying.
Mail doesn't get sent.
Pizzas stop being ordered.
Ambulaces stop coming to rescue.
No more Firetrucks.
No more cops.
Lawns stop getting mowed.
Maybe the air will get cleaner.
Grass will grow through the pavement.
Jungles swallow the cities.
The ice caps refreeze.
Walmart parking lots become fields of wheat dotted with tipis and yurts.
Domestic animals become feral and wild and eat their owners unable to provide for them.
End of Mankind.

Saw "IJATKOTCS" again, but this time with my brother and his wife.
They were going to see, "Nell's Island" or something, I know they didn't want to see it, they just like to prove they're different.
They are the kinda people who pride themselves on doing the opposite of normal folk.
If you like good tasting food, they'll eat bland bowel bomb food fortified with diarrhea causing filler to prove how wrong you are to want something good.
If you like to look pretty and wear make up, one of them will proudly proclaim, "I never wear make up!" Yet runs in horror if a camera is around.
If you like to watch films that will nourish your soul and enrich your life with its artistic merit, they'll watch an infomercial about some kitchen cleaner just because nothing better is on.
Anyway, I talked them in to seeing "Indy" because I knew that's what they really wanted to do, but didn't want to admit it.
It was better for me this time.
I overheard someone saying, "Well, this one is so unbelievable with the alien stuff..." as if all the Bible and Hindu stuff in the previous "Indy" films were spot on fact.
One thing I did take away from this film that really depressed me was this:
It sucks growing old!

My B'Day gifts are rolling in early!
Steve and Aaron sent me a cool gadget that uses the USB port to connect to a microphone without me having to go through a mixer or phantom power supply.
Awesome!
Josh and Mika sent me a couple of mini Neal Strauss books about picking up women and one from a guy called Mystery about picking up women... Okay, I can take a hint!
My brothers got me William Shatner's new book, "Up Till Now" it's really pretty good!
I'm afraid when my B'Day actually arrives (May 29th and 30th) I won't have anything to open. And not knowing anyone around here, won't have anyone to go get drunk with...
Sad way to spend my 29th B'Day.

It was "Indy Day" for me as I alone went to brave the Great Missouri Unwashed to see this blockbuster.
I hate seeing movies alone, but I was ready for this.
Got the perfect seat! Right in the middle, one level up in the stadium seating all the leg room in the world.
Then a woman wheels in an older woman who is in some strange kinda wheelchair. It was like a Lifeguard hut on wheels! Her seat was up high. She has to climb up a few steps on the contraption to sit. She can't wheel herself around, someone has to push her. I've never seen anything like this one before. Maybe some sorta Hillbilly Wheelchair? Part grocery cart, part ladder, all retarded.
She gets parked right in front of me. Her head in right in the middle of the screen! There's no way they didn't know!
The place was filling up fast but I knew I needed to move. I did. Second row back from the screen at an angle. A neck cracking angle!
I didn't enjoy the movie at all!
I was bent up. My knees were jammed into the seat in front of me. I was surrounded by text messaging teens with their bright screens popping on all through the film.
It was horrible!
I bet the film is actually good... But I was in so much pain and so distracted, I couldn't tell.

It's been quite a movie time for me!
I saw:
"I'm Not There"
"Notes on a Scandal"
"Tempest"
"Away from Her"
"Hamlet" the Laurence Olivier one.
And I enjoyed them all!

Rarely to never do I put on clothes I bought at the store without washing them first, but today was "Laundry Day" and I had no other pants handy other than the brand new ones I just purchased.
While wearing them we had a thunderstorm with heavy rain. I was in it. I got soaking wet.
But I looked pretty good in my new jeans if I do say so.
Later at bedtime I peeled off my pants to discover my legs were Purple from the dye in the jeans.
Nice.
Closer examination reveal I also had Blue Balls!

Lately I've come in contact with several new people. A fairly large group of folks have passed through my field of vision and many of them appear to be the kind I'll know better at time goes on.
I think I hit a clique that know one another pretty well and feel comfortable introducing me around.
As you meet people in a stream where the question, "Oh so what do you do?" arrives again and again, I felt myself tiring of saying the same thing over and over and began a game of "What's the most mind-blowing thing I can say now?"
Really, it can be fun. Fun and dangerous! I might try writing down all the things I've done in my life that I've enjoyed and carry it around with me to remind myself of just how great life can be. We've all done something that brought smiles to our faces. Maybe we forget those special moments because it cost us nothing, or we made no money for it.

Once in Texas I met a former NASA Huston executive and later a Military Subcontractor because I was on the radio talking about UFOs and weird stuff.
He told me about how Stanley Kubrick was hired to fake Moon landings and the discovery of alien technology that would be leaked to the Russians, or if something failed, convince the public that their tax dollars weren't wasted.
In exchange for his services he'd be set up finacially for life, but also he received optics used for spy satellites and cameras used in U2 planes.
This guy seemed to know his stuff and years later I heard that Kubrick used these lenses for, "Barry Lyndon."
Here's a video on how director Stanley Kubrick was able to use natural lighting and candles in order to film the interior scenes and achieve a more authentic look for his 1975 film "Barry Lyndon."

I'm sure I've mentioned him before, but this is my friend, Mike Carano who I've known since the early 90's. Through him I met Dennis Miller, Jay Leno, walked on the set of The Tom Snyder Show and while eating at the CBS commisary met the cast of "Young and the Restless."
He's a filmmaker/artist/photographer who is always there to pick up my spirits if I'm down (when does that ever happen?) and he's making these things that I think you also might enjoy:
"Five Minutes with Mike"
Episode 01
Episode 02
Episode 03
Episode 04

Been gaining so much weight.
Can't stand it!
I'm shoveling food in to shelter myself from the Harsh World, I think. Not knowing anyone, I've discovered that Food has replaced friends. It gives me pleasure.
At about 2am I was at an iHop and there was a normal looking guy also sitting alone having a great conversation with his... FOOD!
I shit you not!
He was talking to his food!
I'm planning to exercise soon, really.
I've started this Pilates Program, but so far I've just been using my hand.

My friend Steve and I are constantly looking for cool and odd cars to dream about.
Forget all those weak-ass "smart cars" and tiny electric cars.
How would you like to own a real life TRON light cycle? (or as close as you will ever get to one?)
Sweet!
I truly want this car!

I love Frank Sinatra!
I heard from an old friend that does Costumes for Film and he said Matt Damon was in the running to play Sinatra in a new biopic. Can that be right? He might be really good, but does he look enough like Frank? Will he sing, or just lipsync?
I've been a bit stressed lately, so it's relaxing to just sit and read. Cracked open Helen Mirren's new book about her life and work, “In The Frame” just fantastic!
She is so freakin' cool!
Speaking of reading, check out, "The Film Club" by David Gilmour.
It's so far really good!

The ghost video is really getting attention!
The Maury Show licenced the footage once again for a "Best Of" show!
TV Stations from across the country are contacting me about it, too.
There have been hundreds of emails from people who have seen it and everyone has been super nice. People are telling about their own hauntings.
I'm thinking of creating a Haunting TV Show locally because there are so many according to the comments I'm getting.
Stay Tuned!

The ghost video I made did BIG NEWS! They covered it LIVE all night long at KCBS and KCAL! Click here to watched it!
My brother's phone rang off the hook as friends from Coral Cafe and others called me to tell me about it.
The video has become one of the Most Popular Videos of ALL TIME!!!

Last night I was in Springfield driving around in the rain when I heard that tornadoes were coming. I pulled over as the rain started coming down thick.
The sky got really dark and a woman running to put her kids in her car next to me yelled that hail the size of softballs were on their way.
The car radio was on and the emergency weather reports made it sound bad and getting worse.
I drove to a bank that had a drive thru with a shelter or awning and parked under it.
It was really violent for a bit and while driving I thought I was on ice as the car seemed to be sliding, but I guess it was the wind getting under my Honda.
Then as suddenly as it started the clouds opened to Blue skies and a beautiful sunset!

Had a dream that I was living on the Moon!
I guess there had been this ancient race of people that built a civilization just on the edge of the darkside of the moon and they left or died off.
Somehow I was transported there and lived in their airtight city.
I had a giant robot as my servant and companion. I had a cool car that I drove outside the city and onto the dark part where with my powerful headlights saw the skeletons of old dinosaurs that once lived there.
At first the dream was kinda sad. I was lonely and felt trapped. But the robot became my friend and helped make my wants and desires possible because it was great at making things.
Then I wanted a woman. I sorted through data of the type of woman I wanted. I had the robot watch movies that starred Angelina Jolie, Paulette Goddard, Ava Gardner, Faye Dunaway, Catherine Deneuve, Jennifer Connelly, Julie Christie, Jessica Biel, Ingrid Bergman, Ann Margret, Rita Hayworth, Emmanuelle Béart, and others, but after he built her the three of us had dinner and I could tell he was really into her.
I'd try to make conversation and he'd be interrupting, cockblocking and alphadogging... It was pretty pitiful.
I gave up. I let the robot have her.
Then he was never around to help me, or make things for me. At one point he even turned the oxygen off because they didn't need it. He said he just forgot to turn it on. He acted like it was a big pain to turn it on. I was suffocating! He made it sound like all I do is want, want, want and nag!
I must have been choking in my sleep because I woke up at this point.

Been thinking of moving again!
I was thinking of Thailand. I talked to a few friends that are already living there.
Then I thought about going back to England.
But I might just move from my brother's farm into an apartment. It'll be nice to have my own space. I can sleep without fear someone will hear me snore. Go to the can without fear of someone hearing me fart. I hope the apartment will have thick walls!
My niece's 4 year old daughter, whose Birthday is the same day as mine, loves to just open the my bedroom door and walk in, usually when I'm changing clothes, so I won't miss that if I move out.
I won't miss the snakes, the ticks, the poison ivy...
But I'll miss the goats, the pigs, the bunnies, the dogs...
Maybe I'll just move to a shed on the farm instead.

Been thinking of getting a GPS. I get lost a lot.
This is a demo of Dennis Hopper being your chosen voice for your TomTom GPS system.
This is really the directions to my old house!
AWESOME!!!
I want this so bad!

People know I'm a Ghost Hunter from way back, so I get all sorts of Ghost related email, but Today I found two ghost jokes that were almost the same from two separate people, so here goes:
A professor at the University of Missouri was giving a lecture on the supernatural. To get a feel for his audience, he asks, 'How many people here believe in ghosts?'
About 90 students raise their hands.
'Well, that's a good start. Out of those of you, who believe in ghosts, do any of you think you've seen a ghost?'
About 40 students raise their hands.
'That's really good. I'm really glad you take this seriously. Has anyone here ever talked to a ghost?'
About 15 students raise their hands.
'Has anyone here ever touched a ghost?'
3 students raise their hands.
'That's fantastic. Now let me ask you one question further... Have any of you ever made love to a ghost?'
Way in the back, Bubba raises his hand.
The professor takes off his glasses, and says, 'Son, all the years I've been giving this lecture no one has ever claimed to have made love to a ghost.
You've got to come up here and tell us about your experience.'
The big Ozark redneck student replied with a nod and a grin, and sheepishly, began to make his way up to the podium.
When he reached the front of the room, the professor asks,
'So, Bubba, tell us what it's like to have sex with a ghost?'
Bubba replied, 'Shiiiiit! , from way back thar I thought you said, 'Goats.'

Never did get my drunk on during Cinco de Mayo...
But I met a very nice server at the Mexican joint and she sat down and told me her life story. It wasn't busy at all. She told me about her beautiful Mother and Father, how they met, her boyfriend who is shy and hasn't learned English yet...
She's worked double shifts everyday for two weeks!
I thinks she's maybe 18 at the most. Very sweet. Big eyes. And she's so positive about her life!
I'll have to go back and ask her how she's stays so happy.

Today is a day of important historical significance, It's Cinco de Mayo and the holiday commemorates an initial and short lived victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, but more importantly it's a day I get...
DRUUUUUNNNNKKKKK!!!!
So I must start early and find a place that serves Margaritas, because I don't know many places here that do. Most of my two favorite Mexican joints are "Ningún Alcohol!"
I must start my journey for booze and Enchiladas Banderas now!

I'm sure you know by now that I love, "Easy Rider" today I spent a good couple of hours watching this retrospective documentary made about the 1969 movie starring Dennis Hopper, Peter Fonda, Jack Nicholson, Luke Askew...
It's only an hour long, but my internet was slow and YouTube's not much fun when it's creeping along.
Watch it here!

My brother's wife is out of town and I thought we could do some manly things together, so I suggested we go see, "Iron Man!"
I discovered a 9AM showing perfect for us after we fed the goats and hogs!
Iron Man was one of my favorite comics and for a few years I even own the very first appearance of Iron Man in Tales of Suspense, but hard times means sacrafise and I sold it to survive my own adventures.
Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark is a great idea, I think! He's one of my favorite personalities. I know people that thinks he's the same in every role and that he mumbles and talks too fast, but I dig the guy.
To me, he save saves movie.
There's just something missing for me in the film, and I can't quite place it now.
But I recommend it. I've thought a lot about it and I had a great time seeing it with my brother.
It just might be that we saw the trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's "The Happening" with Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel just before "Iron Man" and sadly I was thinking of "The Happening" 20 minutes into "Iron Man" and I couldn't shake it.

Went to a Library Book Sale in a huge space where other book lovers purused old stinky and moldy books.
There were some good ones and I don't think the people knew what they had price wise, because If I were so inclined, could have made some good money selling these online.
But I didn't have the energy to buy much.
I found a perfect mint condition paperback of M. Somerset Maugham's "The Razor's Edge" from 1964 that I bought not for anything other than it's one of my favorite books.
I paid 50 Cents for it and as the very old man put it in a plastic back he tore the cover when he snagged it on the side of the bag. RRRRIP! Just like that, but said nothing about it. Nice. Thanks, old dude.
The one book I wanted and he destroys it.

May has always been my favorite month!
I guess it started back when I realized it was the month school was let out for summer.
But also, it's the month that contains Mother's Day, my Mother's B'Day, Bob Hope's B'Day and of course THE MOST important day of all...
My Birthday!!!
I hope you can plan something nice for me. If you don't know what to get me, just email me and ask. I'll work with any budget! You got 29 days to figure it out!
Get crackin'!
