Hanging out with my brothers has been so wonderful!

I love them so much and feel like I need to catch up on lost time. Every moment is sacred and fleeting. You never know what might happen next!

My oldest brother and I meet up every so often for BBQ and if I could record our conversations, It would be the wildest winding path of ideas, stories, politics, music news, jokes, lies, silliness... Ever!

Our talks are like a retarded "My Dinner with Andre" on speed.

My other brother and his wife ate at the same BBQ place, Ribcrib today and the waitress, who I only know from the time my oldest brother took me there said, "Oh, so you brought your Mom and Dad today!"

My brother was crushed.

I kept refering to them as mom and dad every time the server came by to refill our tea. She really thought they were! Even though they only look like they could be old enough to be my mom and dad... Just kidding! (in case they're reading this!)

I grew up listening to my older brother's music.

So I have a huge collection of memories connected to Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and so I'm looking forward to Graham Nash's 65-song career-retrospective box set called, "Reflection."

It starts in 1964 and ends in 2004, from The Hollies to the last record that Nash and David Crosby put out.

Can't wait!

Found myself out in the night of early morning looking up at the sky that shelters Missouri and watched what might have been a satellite or the space station move slowly overhead.

So beautiful!

Every star was visible. The heavens were like salt sprinkled black velvet. I felt so alone, but at peace.

However if you would have been there with me, I would have cherished it!

I recently bought a single serving size blender to make myself some fresh and healthy fruit smoothies!

Poured the mixed frozen fruit into the blender, hit the power button, LOUD SHATTERING NOISE and broke the machine!

What a mess!

I guess either it's a faulty machine, or I should have let the fruit thaw a bit first.

I went out immediately and bought a cheeseburger and fries.

I'm destined to be unhealthy.

The New month of October is around the corner and I wonder what Halloween costume I'll imagine making but never will in fact make.

I love Halloween!

Just don't feel like playing in it anymore. Too much real horror in the World these days, I suppose. Maybe I'm lazy.

I wonder if I'll Fast again?

I could Fast every other month.

Maybe in October, I'll just Fast every other day.

Maybe I'll paint my head like a pumpkin.

Been having a dream on my mind lately that I had a few days back.

Can't shake it!

It creeps in when I least expect it. I'll be having a fairly good time chatting with someone and suddenly my thoughts drift to a woman from my dream that was standing across a road waving and trying to get my attention over the roar of traffic.

Never seen her before, as far as I know.

The dream seemed to be some sort of warning. She was concerned about me. Cared for me. Maybe loved...

I hate focusing on it, because it worries me and I don't want to bring anything bad into my World.

"Stanley Kubrick - The Last Movie" is now up on YouTube thanks to Matt7333!

Just watched it and even though we may have seen it all before, I still smile when I see the beautiful Christiane and her paintings.

My brother and his wife took me to Silver Dollar City!!!

WooHoo!!!

I really didn't want to go, but they got me a free pass and forced me into their Jeep.

Hadn't been there since my very best friend Matt Taylor and I were in the 7th grade. So I thought about that as I sweated in the heat and rubbed up against the wet and dirty crowd exchanging the new strain of flu viruses that's going around.

I've been told Matt still lives here, but I have yet to contact him and he hasn't contacted me. He's been told I'm here.

Maybe we are both afraid to see how the other has aged? I dunno...

I hope he is well. I heard he has kids. Maybe his life is great and he's too busy.

Maybe I'm the scared one. I think so.

Been getting lots of emails from people back in California wonder when I'm going to come to my senses and go back.

Things said are like:

"Are you done yet?"

"What are you thinking?"

"Duuuuude!"

I like it here, so far and besides the ticks, the humidity, the snakes, the spiders, the hillbillies, the roadkill, the meth users, the women who have to squeeze out a baby every couple of days, the dirty people, the scary people, the wife beaters (not the shirts, but the guys that beat their wives), the racists, the toothless, the crazy drivers and stuff, I might stay.

Someone has to sell the tickets to the freakshow!

Was standing in line, waiting to get seated at a BBQ place here called, Ribcrib and a woman with another group walked up to me and said, "We've been goin' over and over who it is you look like and we figured it out that you looks like..."

This is always painful to me. People start off this way and it ends up they think you look like some famous ugly retard. Not good for my shatterable self esteem.

Anyway she says, "...that there Lex Luther from the 'Superman" picture show that was just out!"

She was so excited to tell me that.

I thought about it and I love Kevin Spacey's work and I think he looked awesome in, "Superman Returns" so I'm okay with that!

And I was all ready to be hurt.

Bought "Death Proof" on DVD and was so excited for my family to se it with me!

About 10 minutes in and what must have seemed like 50 minutes in, I could see my brother and sister in law just weren't into it.

So it was ejected.

I still love it!

Ever have a favorite movie and you just can't wait to show it to your new girlfriend or boyfriend?

And they HATE it!

Doesn't that just suck?

Sometimes you just never get over it!

Found out there is a HUGE Gay and Lesbian population here!

There's also a lot of horses, too!

I was at Steak n' Shake and a very young guy started hitting on me. I was at first disturbed, but after thinking about it for a while... He was hot (I think, I can imagine what a hot guy might look like, he was a mix of Sting and Brad Pitt) and seemed funny and nice, so I didn't get too upset.

Took it as a compliment!

It's nice to be wanted by someone!

A girl I've made friends with here told me she's a Lesbian. Not that you couldn't tell. She's like a Hispanic K.D. Lang. She told me she moved here from Texas, just for the Missouri Lesbians!

Who knew Missouri would have changed so much since I was a kid?

Or maybe they were hidden and not out back then, maybe it's a safer time now to be what you are.

Shot some video of snakes I've come across here in Missouri!

I'll edit and post soon, but I didn't realize what an Wild Animal Safari I was living in!

Every time I drive to my brother's farm at night, I see all sorts of crazy critters scurrying out in front of my headlights.

Sometimes walking from my car in his driveway to the porch I take my flashlight and scan the dark woods beside his home and see eyes of all sizes and colors staring back at me.

Scary.

When I heard that one of my heroes Dame Anita Roddick, the founder of The Body Shop, died at the age of 64 after suffering a major brain haemorrhage, I thought I'd go to the Battlefield Mall and see what memorial they might have for her.

Nothing.

Oh well, at least I knew who she was and what she's done.

I picked up a bottle of Vitamin C Energizing Facial Spritz and it now rocks my world!

My skin is so soft and kissable, but only I know that, it seems.

"3:10 to Yuma" is playing at a Drive-In Movie Theatre here and I really want to go see it!

I can't get anyone to go with me...

Going to a Drive-In sounds like a blast to me, but not to anyone in my family, or anyone I barely know here.

I'd feel funny going by myself.

I'd pull up in my sweet ride, get my ticket, park, find the frequency on my radio that picks up the audio of the movie, reach into the cooler and pull out a nice bottle of something, unwrap some crackers and various cheeses, slide the pretty quilt over my lap, ease the seat back and begin making out with myself.

Nice!

I'm so lonely...

Saturday, September 15, 2007

Met a guy here today who was telling me about UFOs in Missouri and what a strange history of paranormal activity there's been here!

He's really interesting. Smart. Educated. Rich. Mormon.

I think I'm going to try an investigate some strange things here. Maybe make some videos. He seems to have connections with those who have experienced the bizarre.

I'm going to try to get some interviews!

Friday, September 14, 2007

I can see every star in the sky here!

It's so dark at night. No city lights. No skyscrapers. No big billboards.

Beautiful.

I want to lay on my back in the grass and fall face first into the Universe, but I know the ticks will hold me down.

Trying to make friends here in Missouri...

People are real friendly. They wave at you while you're driving and every time it happens, I'm caught off guard and my reaction time in waving back isn't fast enough.

They pass me by too quick.

When this first started happening to me, I thought something was wrong with my car and they were trying to point it out.

This is the "Show Me" state, but I think sometimes there may be too much ME in the "Show Me" because people here aren't too big on saying nice things.

Compliments.

Not big on taking them.

Not real big on giving them.

But maybe it's all action that counts here, that could be a good thing. Could be folks have a low threshold for Bull.

Made a new friend that drinks only fruit smoothies that he juices in a blender.

Seems he had a bad bad disease and fought it and won eating only fruits. Now the guy is thin and full of energy.

He's really a fireball!

I found a single serving size Hamilton Beach blender that you can use as a drinking container as well, at WalMart, in the Clearance section for $9!

I'm about to get all fruity soon!

Tuesday, September 11, 2007

Been working on a project.

It's Top Secret, so I can't reveal, except that part of it is a test to see whether I can keep it to myself.

I'm a big blabbermouth and am concerned that many of the projects I've started in my life failed to reach fruition because I talked them to death instead of acting on them.

We'll see...

Sometimes my talent scares me!

Curt over at Beyond the Groovy Age of Horror posted a trailer I voiced and produced for him just seconds after I finished it. That's the internet and thinking at the speed of light!

I believe it's the fastest viewed video I've made with the most views in the shortest amount of time.

Groovy Age Trailer!

I know you are busy, but if you can view my other videos and leave wonderful comments, it would make me happy as it appears a group of viewers are upset with one video and are trying to get YouTube to remove it. This group of trappers are upset and my brother is asking me to take it down because they've contacted him. I hope you join me in this cause to fight censorship! I don't want to be alone.

Imagine videotaping something that really happened to you and some people try forcing you to remove it.

Here's the video in question.

I need your help to save it, and protect its right to be seen. It may not be ART to you but it is MY art! If you are an artist, or just a creative person, I know you understand. Please help me!

Been talking with an X-Girlfriend of mine and it's been great to be able to do so. Many times I find it difficult to even think about an ex.

She's different.

I don't know what happened to us, but I'm guessing it was me moving on and losing contact. No fights. No trouble. Just big space between.

I suck!

She's so much better off, she's talented, has two great beautiful daughters and wonderful husband that takes sexy semi-nude pics of her to post on Myspace for all of us to see. Awesome, dude!

She wrote this very funny email that contained this slice of her family life:

"Okay, (my daughter) came up with the funniest idea for a short film. We were discussing movies and (my husband) mentioned "Blade Runner," and she said she always got that confused with "Sling Blade," so "Sling Blade Runner" was born. (my husband) said, "I reckon I see a skin job, mmm hmm.""

Been getting some nice gifts coming to me lately!

It really paid off buying and reading, "The Secret" I guess!

Been eating at Panera because they have the best, and I mean the BEST French Onion Soup EVER!!!

And I've made friends with those that work there, so every time I've been in there, someone has given me different breads as gifts. I don't eat too much bread, but I still take it! I've been given HUGE fresh loafs that are still hot from the oven and my car smells like a bakery driving home. It's great!

I've been praying to the sweet baby Jesus to bring more bread into my life, but I was talking about dough, ya know, MONEY!

I also got;

A DVD of assorted vampire films!

Plus:

"A.I."
"Inland Empire"
"Sideways"
"From the Earth to the Moon"
"Road to Perdition"
"Zodiac"

Got books, too!

"Star Trek: Strangers from the Sky"
"Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao"
"The Science of Success"
"The Writer's Toolbox" (Not really a book, more of a novel writing game. Very cool!)

I've been very blessed these last few weeks. So much has happened to me, but I can't go into all of it. I've seen some amazing things and been to fantastic places and met wonderful people.

Life is very good!

I got a great email:

"Thanks for the nice promotion on your blog, Jerry!

Regards,

Stephen Hill, Producer"

Hearts of Space!

I mention it a few posts back. You have to check it out. I would listen to this show all the time!

People are being so nice to me lately, I hope the other shoe doesn't drop!

My niece Cassie sent me an email in reference to our video about Ghost Hunting and EVPs:

Ghost Hunting Video!

"Have you ever watched Taps (Ghost Hunters) on SciFi?! I didn't realize you could join their team. We should do it!!!" said Cassie.

TAPS!

I've been told at least a hundred times, that I look like Jason Hawes!

So I know I don't stand a ghost of a chance to get picked to host an episode in their contest!

Wednesday, September 05, 2007

Thanks to my friends over at Curt Purcell's Beyond the Groovy Age of Horror! and Brian Lindsey I read about Missouri-born pulp master Lester Dent, who not only had the coolest author name, next to Nina Bangs, but is reputedly the author of at least 136 Doc Savage books.

I grew up reading Doc Savage hand me downs as all my older brothers were into him.

There is also a Lester Dent documentary!

I can't wait to see the whole story!

My local videos, the ones I've shot around here in Missouri are getting me some nice attention from those here that are Internet savvy:

"Jerry,

I haven't lived here that long, either. I know of two people I've met online that would LOVE to go to a cemetery with you... actually they are sisters...

One of them thinks her house is haunted. They're in Stockton, close to the lake... actually closer to downtown, where the tornado hit!

So... what brings you here? Were you raised in this area??

I have enjoyed your videos---they're great!! Let me know when you post a new one and I'll check it out! Also, do you teach acting??

Keep in touch!!

Cindy"
-----

"Jerry, I came across your name on youtube... where you were filming at the cemetery...(it looks alot like the cemetery just off 13 on Wire road)... I knew I had heard your name before, maybe because of your podcast... anyway nice to meet you!

Dusty Reavis"
-----

"Jerry, In your Tractor pull video there is a great shot of my best friend walking up the bleachers near you and I couldn't believe someone really put Billings, MO up on the web. If you want to do a video of ghosts, I live in a haunted house in Clever, (not very far) but I'm not suppose to tell people about it, but my mom and I have seen a Civil War Soldier (I guess) walking around on our yard and twice in the house. But we hear things EVERY NIGHT! You need to spent the night here, You'd freak OUT!

Shy-Anne"

Met a waitress my brother Donny helped introduced me to at a place here called, "Rib Crib" the place rocks, by the way...

If you like meat!

I asked about local fun stuff and she mentioned her joy of fishing and talked about "Jugging" which I perked up about thinking it was something else, but...

Juggin'

We're gonna need a bigger boat!

I've found the Electic Car I want!

"644 horsepower and speeds up to 155mph. An advanced battery system will enable the car to travel a range up to 350 miles between charges, with a rapid charge technology that can recharge the batteries in as little as 10 minutes."

I was just reading my favorite magazine, MAKE about a guy that put solar panels he bought at Costco on a junkyard car he gutted and made all electric for $7000!

Finally got a new laptop battery free from Apple that doesn't get anywhere near the surface of the sun temps my last battery did, so I'm very happy now!

My nuts can now get released from the Burn Unit!

My 1st Tractor Pull... WooHoo!!! Watch my New Video!

The popcorn smelled great in the kettle, the dust of tractors pulling the heavy sled filled the air, the sweet people of Billings, Mo were friendly and kind and I had a great night!

So, I broke my Fast with great Kettle Corn, then chased it with a SuperSonic Cheeseburger from Sonic and now I'm in INCREDIBLE PAIN!!!

I can't sleep and I feel like dying!

What was I thinking?
