Watergate whistleblower Deep Throat played a central role in one of the biggest White House scandals ever, helping bring down a president and inspire a political mystery so famous his nickname earned an entry in Webster's.
Thirty years later, the source is secret no more. At age 91, after decades of hiding his role as The Washington Post's tipster from politicians, the public and even his family, former FBI official W. Mark Felt told his secret to a lawyer his family had consulted on whether Felt should come forward.
I was very young at the time and cared little about Watergate until my Birthday treat from my Three older brothers was to pick any movie that I wanted to go see. I picked, "The Legend of Boggy Creek" about a Bigfoot type creature that terrorized a small swamp town. So my brothers took me to see, "All the President's Men."
Bastards!
I loved it however and felt smarter for seeing it.
I always believed that "Deep Throat" was actually Linda Lovelace.
This all coming out as work on a remake to the Robert Redford, Dustin Hoffman film, "All the President's Men" is currently being finalized with Woodword and Bernstein being played by Brad Pitt and Vince Vaughn. "Deep Throat" was said to be played by Brad's buddy George Cloony, but now it looks like it's Courtney Love.

Dear Jerry, you have done some news about Trent Reznor
these past few days. I can tell you are a fan, but why
don't you mention that he won his lawsuit against his
manager? As a musician myself, I know we've all heard
story after story about musicians getting ripped off
daily and how sad is it, that you do something you
love like make music, make people happy and forget
their troubles, sing in dirty bars, get in fights with
jealous boyfriends and then at the end of the day when
you are to tired to handle your own finances, your
record label or manager rips you off... sad!
Zach, A fan from the O.C. Orange Cove!
A jury awarded Nine Inch Nails alternative rocker Trent Reznor $2.95 million after finding his former manager breached his contract and acted fraudulently.
The jury in Manhattan federal court delivered the verdict Friday against John Malm, Reznor's longtime manager. The award likely would top $4 million when interest is added.

Today I saw a girl walking and just as I looked down to see her high heel shoes, one heel broke and she fell. It was so weird that I just happened to be looking at her when it happened.
I began wondering if I some magical power.
I tried to do it again.
Nothing.
Oh, it's my 29th B'Day today!
Yay...

Dick Tracy is on his way. Warren Beatty, who directed and starred in the 1990 film Dick Tracy, has filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against Chicago-based company Tribune Media Services, claiming he still owns the rights to the character and has a second movie on the drawing board.
...about a 90 year old Dick Tracy.
CBS said is cancelling the Wednesday edition of "60 Minutes," insisting the decision was made because of poor ratings and not last fall's ill-fated story about President Bush's military service.
Remember Dan Rather was the host... Where's he now?
Ellen DeGeneres reveals in the latest issue of Allure magazine that her stepfather molested her as a teenager.
While speaking about her messy breakup with actress Anne Heche, the talk show host said her stepfather insisted on feeling her breast while DeGeneres' mother was fighting breast cancer. She said the incident later escalated into "other things" and her stepfather, now deceased, tried to break into her bedroom.
"I had to kick a window out and escape," DeGeneres told Allure.
I wonder how many stories up the window and drop were?
DeGeneres said she's speaking about the incident because "it's important for teenage girls out there to hear that there are different ways to say no. And if it ever happens to them, they should tell someone right away."
She insisted the occurrences, which happened in her late-teens, had no effect on her sexual orientation. DeGeneres' "coming out" was featured on a 1997 Time magazine cover and as a plot in her ABC sitcom.
"People I've confided in about this before say, 'Oh, that's why you're a lesbian,'" said DeGeneres. "But I was a lesbian way before that. My earliest memories are of being a lesbian."
Me too!
Lindsay Lohan has a mission ... and she wants to accept it. The actress says she has met with "Mission: Impossible III" director J.J. Abrams regarding the possibility of starring in the third installment of the 1960s TV show remake.
"It's kind of an incredible feeling, I'm scared," Lohan said of the prospect of working with Cruise. "If I do 'Mission Impossible III' that is going to be so exhilarating. I'm so excited, I just can't wait to do stunts and get all into it."
"Mission Impossible III" has been scheduled to begin shooting this summer and be released next year.
The 18-year-old actress will star this summer in "Herbie: Fully Loaded," to hit theaters June 22. She will also host NBC's "Saturday Night Live" this week, the season finale.
Robert Altman's next movie has Lindsay Lohan.
The director, famed for his ensemble casts, will bring Meryl Streep, Lindsay Lohan, Woody Harrelson, John C. Reilly and Lily Tomlin to a St. Paul, Minn. theater for his adaptation of Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion."
"As a longtime Keillor fan, I'm thrilled to be doing this project with him," director Robert Altman recently told the Star Tribune.
Garrison Keillor wrote the movie's script and will be playing a character named, well, Keillor.
The comedy is about an long-running radio show that's suddenly canceled after 30 years on the air. As the cast and crew prepare for the last live broadcast, secret love affairs, jealousies and feuds come to a boil, taxing the patience of a stage manager struggling to hold the show together.
Streep and Tomlin play Bonnie and Rhonda Johnson, the two remaining performers of a five-sister country music act, with Lohan as Streep's daughter.
Altman has directed more than 30 films and received five Academy Award nominations for best director. His films include
"M A S H," "Nashville," "The Player," "Short Cuts" and "Gosford Park."
I can't wait!
