It's been raining non stop and the farm has flooded!

I waded out into early morning waist high freezing waters to check on the goats and pigs with their necks barely above it all.

Everyone on the farm is out of town but me, so I can pretend it's all mine and imagine what I would do with it.

I peeled off my soaked clothes and ran a hot bath. With the sound of the washing machine and dryer in the background I cracked open Andrew Morton's New book, "Tom Cruise: An Unauthorized Biography"

Really enjoying this book!

Sure it seems trashy in many parts, but I'm having fun with it.

This would be the perfect beach reading, but now I sit on the edge of a lawn that's now a bank where raging flood waters foam and spray and tear away at the driveway.
