I got so many emails from people telling me they watched, The Maury Show. I spent some time just reading and responding to those letters.

While I was writing, I had a DVD of Sidney Lumet's "Network" playing in a small box in the corner of my desktop. I was watching the bonus stuff. Great info about Lumet and Paddy Chayefsky. That movie is so great!

I stepped out onto the porch and the flooding is still going on here. A river is pouring over the driveway. I'm here for a while.

Later, I caught Actor Alan Cumming as he describes working with director Stanley Kubrick on the set of, "Eyes Wide Shut" on FORA.tv, "the world's first on-demand, interactive fully searchable media portal delivering spoken words from the world's great writers, leaders, activists and thinkers."

It's very funny what Cumming has to say about Kubrick.
