Whenever I'm sick, sullen, or sad, I find it's good for me to read or watch something about George Lucas.

I don't know why.

It just makes me feel better to fall into that George Lucas World. I'm not talking about his films. I mean just him.

I've read everything there is, heard all the stories too many times before, but there's some sort of comfort there. It's like Sunday School to me. It's safe.

BBC Omnibus: George Lucas Flying Solo

This is a BBC omnibus special edition documentary with interviews with Lucas, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Francis Ford Coppola and many others. There's a bunch of these broken up in bite size morsels scattered around YouTube.

I was thinking while watching these that I would love to see a Celebrity Filmmaker Edition of Donald Trump's "The Apprentice" with George Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola, David Fincher, Paul Thomas Anderson, Kevin Smith, Michel Gondry, Brett Ratner, David O. Russell...

Oh forget it. It's a stupid idea! I'm too sick to delete what I've already written. Sorry.
