Watched, "Infamous," not long ago I watched, "Capote" again. Didn't think I could go through all that stuff one more time, but this movie was so much better. And I loved, "Capote!"

Started thinking about a girl I used to know who was my best friend until a series of unfortunate events ruined the relationship. She ran an awesome bookstore and gave me a copy of Capote's "Other Voices, Other Rooms" to read and it really changed me in some way.

She changed me as well.

There were so many things I would never have done if it wasn't for her. She really expanded my horizons and I was too cocky to let her know just how lucky I was to be able to know her.

I lived on Knox Street in Dallas at the time and Capote's main character in the book was named, Joel Knox. The Knox Street Pub & Grill was walking distance and my roommate, Phil and I would go to On the Border for Happy Hour where they had a free buffet at 4 and eat. I mean EAT. Everyday we were there. Drinking free water and eating free food.

They hated us!

Then we'd go to the Knox Street Pub and drink. We spent money there. All the Dallas Theatre Center actors hung out there and they'd entertain us. Once Robert Duvall was there and later Jerry Seinfeld, too. I even acted in a short film written and directed by Tom Sime, shot right there in the pub.

Once I was asked by an Irish bartender if I could marry his sister so she could stay in America. I met her. She was so beautiful. But nothing would happen, it would be just for money. It never transpired. Sometimes I wish I would have taken the money, just for the possible IRA Adventure.

The movie, "Infamous," sure stirred up some stuff.
