Started my monthly Fast and boy is it exciting!!!

A lot of people are sick and they are always coughing and sneezing around me, so I hope I don't get anything now that my resistance is low.

Exchanged some gifts that were faulty for better working models and used a Borders gift card that my brother Donny got me. Awesome!

The $25 gift card went to "Legends of Literature: The Best Essays, Interviews and Articles from the Archives of Writer's Digest Magazine" by Phillip Sexton.

The book was scuffed and the hardback covers were slightly bowed. It was the only copy they had so I asked for a discount and without hesitation they gave me 15% off. SWEET!

It's a cool book and I've only perused it ever so briefly, but it has quotes from all my favorite writers.

It's like Christmas is everyday when you have gift cards to use before they start expiring!
