A friend and I got a Ouija Board, it's not one of the Parker Bros., though...

I'm told, by those in the know, or Unknown that the older boards from 1950s, 60s, are the best, the ones made of Masonite. News ones are pretty flimsy.

I love the old designs on some that I've seen online. The really old ones.

We cracked it open to try it out!

The booklet that came with it had so many rituals that you had to go through before the horror was to begin, I was worn out before it started.

We lit candles.

We lit incence.

We held hands.

We put our fingers on the planchette.

We asked questions.

I asked, "How many Spirits are with us now?

"9" was answered.

I asked for a name and "JAKE" was spelled out.

I asked if my mother was here and "MAYBE" was answered.

This was over a hour to get just that. And really, How can you trust that the other person isn't moving it around?

Well, I was disappointed in this board. It has four folds in it and the planchette kept getting stuck in the grooves.

The board was trouble. I wonder if I should put a sheet of glass over it to smooth it out?

I'd love to get about 5 people together and do this for real in some truly old place here in Hollywood.
