Don't want harp on the fast too much, but I think a monthlong fast would be so much easier if I were in a coma.

People always seem to be amazed when they hear I fast. Sometimes their jaw drops open when I tell them the longest fast I did was 42 days. Then they ask why?

I have no real good answer.

I guess I like to withhold things from myself, like food, sex, happiness...
