I was telling a friend how I was excited to see, "Bug" the movie and he thought the film was about a VW Bug.

Saw a van like this on the road the other day minus the two girls and it was so cherry! I wonder if it would be as fun to have as they look? I mean, the Van. Come on!

Hippies seem so sweet and loving in movies and books and in my thoughts about the 60s, but you know they must have just been dirty, sweaty and stinking homeless people.

I was talking with this same friend about how in "Easy Rider" they just parked and camped wherever they wanted and didn't seem to get hassled by "The Man" much. I said, I bet you couldn't do that now. No campground is gonna let you do it. No park is gonna let you. Think you'd be able to park and sleep on the pavement in a WalMart parking lot? Doubt it.

I'd like to get out and travel more on the road, but I don't think the road wants me.
