Been getting lots of offers to do voice-over work and that is exciting, however so many of the gigs offer low to no pay...
Most of the offers pay big money, but a few movie trailers are for very independent films with their budgets already blown. If the films were for some foreign art house gem, or something I respected by way of director or story, I wouldn't have a problem doing some pro bono work. A lot of these look like junk, I mean bad junk that's no fun look at. Sometimes a junky film can be fun.
Built another website to set up my voice over demos in a pleasing and organized way for clients to easily see that I'm the man for the job.
You can look at it here!
I got some interesting news today that my former boss at a radio station that let me go just days before the highest ratings they've ever had for that position were announced by Arbitron, was himself fired.
It's not good to wish bad on someone who caused harm to you, I guess. I should be bigger than this. I should be better than this. I should not want revenge. I'm not sure I even enjoyed the news...
...Because there are still a few people employed who have yet to be fired and the building is still standing.
