YAY! Very funny of them to mention me! I got a lot of hits from this! And a few people showed up from seeing that News item!

October is gonna be THE month to do my Acting Workshop/Parties!

I was stopped at a light and I looked over at a 7-11 and notivced the windows were decorated with Xmas designs...

It's not even Halloween and they are already pushing Xmas!!!

Thinking about this, I wondered if people/actors would want to give their friends and families the gift of seeing them in a DVD?

How cool would that be, if you sent a DVD of a performance of yours made at one of my Workshops? Maybe the people you send them to would be your biggest supporters, maybe they funded your move to Hollywood, maybe you could even create a part where they are mentioned in the story?

One actor showed up for a Workshop wearing a t-shirt that had advertising on it. A big no-no in my workshop, because I don't want to have to blur out any copyrighted logos, but he told me it was a t-shirt of his brother's steakhouse back home and he wanted to surprise him with it.

That was cool!

I was just looking back at some of the footage I shot for a Workshop a few weeks ago and I was thinking how people always ask me, "What kind of movies are these?"

I always downplay it because these are not like Big Hollywood movies, but when I try to describe it as a dogme 95 film, I lose them.

I haven't had anyone really hate any of the results of what we do yet, and I know people are way more critical of films than almost anything.

I remember in Texas, a band I was friends with invited all of their friends to a recording studio where we were asked to write one or two cool lines that we thought might make good lyrics and they scrambled them all up and improvised it right there. We even got to scream backup on some tracks!

It was a blast! We all had fun! The song wasn't great, but when ever I heard it later, I would think about that party and how much fun it was to be a part of something weird and creative.

I always thought, How cool would life be if we could live it creatively like that? Just making cool stuff up and having fun all the time.
