I just read an e-mail from a friend concerned about my health after my aborted month-long Fast.

Seems he knows someone who also recently became ill doing it. I use to be able to go without food and be okay. I don't feel normal. I guess as we get older, starving ourselves doesn't get any easier.

I was watching Conan and he had a funny one, "In the Year 2000" that went something like, "Nicole Richie will be prescribed diet pills, pills shaped like an index finger."

I told my friend, David how the Doctor said I should be Hospitalized, but that I didn't have insurance. I added that someday I hope to be able to afford my health.

Being that he lives overseas and probably has access to Socialized Medicine, he responded, "God Bless America!"
