I am so ready to go all electric!

Will I be booed like Bob Dylan?

A friend was telling me the other day how he is so tired of working for "the man." I agreed, but also tired of paying "the man."

There is so much information available on the Web now, on how to practically live free. I know I'd joke from time to time about living in my Honda, or getting a van, but as I was walking through Target the other day I noticed several cool and inexpensive tents. I thought to myself, how cool would be to have a small piece of land and maybe build a wood deck to place a really nice tent upon?

There are so many new devices for solar power, I could set up some of those for the fridge, the washer and dryer, air-conditioner, this laptop and other things.

I would probably still want to to be connected to the grid so that it could charge my electric car and my electric bike.

I suppose I started thinking about this because the battery on my laptop has always been rather low. Brand new, the battery only seemed to last 15 to 25 minutes, but Aaron and Steve took me to the Apple Store where I purchased a refurbished battery that gives me around 3 hours. It's so cool to be able to carry around the Web, my video work, or just write and post this blog from a cafe or restaurant without racing against time.

Since I'm still sick, all I've eaten pretty much has been soup, other than the occasional Chevy's mixed grill, so I would like a garden to grow some vegetables and make my own soups. Being that that I eat out 4 to 5 times a day, I believe I could really save some money that could be better spent on drugs and prostitutes.
