Tonight I was having dinner with a friend and by that I mean she was the waitress, anyway...

She was telling me this story about how her best friend is a dude. They do everything together. But when she introduces him to guys she's out on a date with, the dates freak and dump her. It seems kinda sad, but it is like that Chris Rock, thing that "her friend is just a guy she hasn't fucked yet."

No!

"We've done it." she tells me.

Oh.

I watched "Annie Hall" last night. I love that film. Diane Keaton just rocks in that movie. It just solidifies my feeling that when we were hanging out together in LA, I could have easily banged her and enjoyed it!

Well, if she would have let me. And WHY wouldn't she?

I'd have bent her over just for the great work she's done in movies!

Woody (Alvy) and Diane (Annie) try to be friends and try to be lovers, but none of it really works for them.

But their pain is somehow our enjoyment. We do seem to enjoy other people's pain. Ever notice how when a friend is telling you How wonderful their life and love is going, You could just strangle them?

Then those late night calls when they tell you how horribly they've been treated and how miserable they've become...

You do kinda dig it don't you?

We suck!
