The best music video is THIS!

I've watched this many times and there's something about it that almost makes me cry and I'm not sure what it is.

Carpark North can also be heard as part of a promo on IFC. I saw it at a friend's house the other night and the music was so powerful under all the images of IFC's line up of movies, that I wished I was still working for the channel. Now they're doing cool stuff!

Walking through Tower Records last night, I looked at a few DVDs and saw some films some friends had made. They looked pretty good, had nice reviews from cool people on the box art, and I wondered if they were making a good living making these films?

Best DVD packaging list of 2005.

Steve and I had an iChat tonight and he told me about his Griffin radioSHARK and how cool it is.

He played some KROQ for me over our iChat. Sounded good!

He said, "All these radio stations are playing the same people."

He's right! Radio Stations want you to have the same thing in every city. They want you to have the same Howard Stern replacement in every town.

But if you're going to have everything... You might as well get that "everything" from satellite radio.

Stations are scrambling to figure you out! What they don't get is, they need to give you something you can't get anywhere else!

If your station is playing, "7 Song Super-sets" or "20 Songs in a row with no talk" they are devaluing the industry and losing you!

Cause, You and I know, If it's songs you want... Your iPod and mp3s are right there for you to play in any order you want!

So when all the First Wave of Stern replacements have faded away and we've all become satellite radio subscribers and podcast listeners...

I guess those AM/FM frequencies will be used to widen the cellphone/Wi-Fi spectrum and powerlines will become irradiated with broadband internet.

Radio Stations needs to provide you with content and personalities you can't get anywhere else!

Or they are doomed!

Do you seriously know anyone that listens to the radio to hear MUSIC?
