I hate cable tee vee! I need the Dish, or Direct TV something awful!

I'll tell ya why; It seems every cable company I know loves to place a channel ontop of another channel after a certain time. Say, how my Comcast puts some home shopping jewelry thing on Discovery at night. I'm not talking about an Infomercial which I hate!

Why can't we have quality programming at night and over night without infomercials on everywhere? I know they make money with them, but please... If they are making so much money, shouldn't our cable bills be lower?

I'm pissy I guess...

I was flipping through channels, couldn't sleep and there on HSN getting her hair done with some new fangled home salon thing was a girl I dated when I was in my pre-married/divorce era.

She was a cute, actually beautiful model/actress/secretary that I dated for maybe a year. We had fun! Her family was really cool, great sisters, dad and mom very funny people. I remember her always complaining about her dad wearing these silly Yellow sweaters all the time and one Xmas her mom got me the exact same sweater. I put it on and he was wearing his, we looked so funny.

I remember when she first introduced me to her parents, they asked what I did, so I told them I worked on the radio and about a week later her dad asked me to fix the radio in his car. He thought I worked ON radios!

We got along really good at the beginning. She was so sweet and pretty. She was very silly too. Mainly and maybe sadly, she was great to be seen with at company parties and events because she was so friggin' hot!

But also, that was our downfall. I couldn't go anywhere without dudes hitting on her. I'd be in a club and see her walking toward me from the Ladies Room and she'd have to pass through a gauntlet of horny guys grabbing her. I'd even be talking with her at say the bar and guys would slide in between us to ask her out! It was like, "You can't be with HIM..."

She was always good about making it clear we were together, but a few times guys would try and beat me up when they were rejected by her.

Guys would just swarm her!

When we were alone, It was fantastic!

I came up with some lame excuse to break off our relationship. I lied about something. She left for school in England. I ran into her about three years later in a mall when I was with another girl. She saw me first and ran over. She seemed happy, there was a boyfriend standing by her very upset to meet me, but maybe he was just wornout by all that I had to put up with...

The girl I was with later cried because she said, "She was so beautiful, how could you ever love me?"

I think I want to get Direct TV...
