Told you more Watts Valley Wolf Ape pictures would come in...

I'm so excited today!

Today is when the Arbitron Ratings come out. These ratings cover the time Brad and I were hosting the Front Row Morning Show alone. These do not include Jen as she was raising a new member of the family.

I'm hoping the ratings will be great!

I know it won't make any difference to those in charge. No one likes to admit they made a mistake. People with big egos and big insecurities just deny and sweep it under the rug. Sometimes they try and spin it to their advantage and sell those high ratings to unsuspecting advertisers as ratings of the new guy.

This mostly happens in small markets. Those that have successfully moved to larger markets have no qualms about hiring back talent they've let go, when they realize they made a mistake. I've been fired and rehired by the same station twice. But that was in market Number 5 and Number 2. What's Fresno? Number 69 or something?

But hopefully another more qualified eye will see these ratings and think, "Gee, I want those ratings at my station!"

I'm sure there will be another Fresno Bee article on the way if the ratings are good. So maybe all the press will make part of a nice package in my portfolio to show those in a hiring mood.

Been watching a lot of horror movies on tv. Some are pretty bad. Some like to be more than they should be. Some of the best are ones that have no problem being low budget and trashy. They just tell a simple story without being flashy. Just introduce us to characters we like and then figure out cool ways to kill them. AMC is showing a lot of movies I grew up watching on Monsterfest.

I just wish AMC was commercial free and without edits.

As I write this there is a pretty good show called, "Entertainment Weekly's Scariest Movies."

Hosted by Bruce Campbell, this documentary counts down the twenty scariest movies of all time. The show has interviews with Richard Donner ("The Omen"), John Carpenter ("The Thing"), Craig T. Nelson ("Poltergeist") and has easy horror movie trivia throughout. Still at this hour of the morning, it's fun!

It's making me really want to crank out a cheap and fast horror movie. A friend was over visiting me last night and I played some video for a few porno movies I voiced the trailers for and the filmmakers called last Sunday telling me I should take my last check and make a film. Do I want to do more porn?

Now a Horror/Porn movie might be fun! I know a lot of sexy Goth girls here in Fresno that would do it!

Hmmm, I instinctively just plugged my DV Camera in to recharge it when I typed that last sentence. Weird...
