Still ill...

The great thing is, I don't have to worry about calling in sick. I can just be sick and not worry about work.

I hardly opened my eyes today. I don't even have them open now as I type this. My head is throbbing and I haven't eaten a thing all day. I'm weak and woozy. It may be the Bird Flu!

Went to see "Elizabethtown" and as I was sitting in the car before going to the theatre, NPR had a critic that was just slamming the film. I went anyway and loved it!

There's a thing in the film where Kirsten Dunst's character makes a map for Orlando Bloom. It's the coolest map in the World! The whole movie could have been that map and been really great. I know a lot of people will not like the movie, but I really did. I want a girl to make a map like that for me.

I was thinking about that map all day while laying in bed sick. It reminded me of a film I love and haven't seen in years called, "Map of the Human Heart." I need to rent that and see it again to see if it still holds up for me.

There were some odd parallels in, "Elizabethtown" for me:

My x-wife is also is a Flight Attendant.

Bloom's character is also booted by a large corporation and it's covered in the Press.

Orlando Bloom's dead dad's name is Mitchell. My x-wife's maiden name is Mitchell. "Mitchell" is also the name of my favorite MST3000 episode.

Well, there are more things similar, but I can't go into them now...

I didn't make it to LA. My road trip will have to happen later. Nothing sucks more than driving when you are dizzy.
