My lease is up, no respectable offer of employment even with the fantastic ratings have come in from Fresno radio stations, and either I must move on to other cities whose stations will treat me properly, or find another way to make money.
My plan is to convert my Honda into something like this; That way I can live and drive around almost free. I hope my lil' Four cylinders can take the weight, cause I will need my tub, refrigerator and my washer and dryer inside.
I was thinking of using one of those Tuff-Sheds, or a Garden Shed that I measured outside of Home Depot. All I need is some polyester and a hot looking chick like in the picture... I'll have it made in the shade!
I talked with some local customizers who also watch MTV's, "Pimp My Ride," like I do, gave them my plans and after they stopped laughing at me said they could do it.
Later, I watched Mark Wexler's, "Tell Them Who You Are."
I wish I were a better writer and had words to tell you better how moved I am by this film. I just rented it from Netflix, but will now buy it.
I haven't spoken with my own father for Ten years. I'm old enough and should be smart enough to figure out how to make it work between us before it's too late.
But I can't...
I have been crying for 20 minutes. I haven't cried in years. My throat is so sore from the lump that is in it. I can't see the screen of my laptop very well from my tears.
I rented this movie because I am a fan of Haskell Wexler, who was one of the most important cinematographers of the '60s and '70s, and the father and subject of this film. It's so much more than a biography. It's about fathers and sons and how hard it can be for some to communicate and love. You should watch it, or get it for a friend.
Aaron knows I love movies, he loves movies, now he loves Thai movies, and he speaks Thai, so he sends me this:

I'm watching Les Blank's, "Burden of Dreams," about German filmmaker Werner Herzog
desperately trying to complete the most ambitious and difficult film of his career, "Fitzcarraldo
," the story of one man's attempt to build an opera house deep in the Amazon jungle.
The locations look like how I imagine Aaron lives. In a thick Jungle.
There are some amazing things in it as Werner Herzog and Fitzcarraldo try pulling a steamship over a mountain without any special effects!
I think I should film my lil' Honda Condo pulling itself up and over the mountain past the Grapevine into Los Angeles.
The World Famous Jerry Lentz
What you are about to become obsessed with is completely true.
