A friend rented some DVDs and brought them over for us to watch, but we never got around to seeing them because we talked, snacked and flipped around the channels. There was some good stuff on TV!
There are more and more ghost shows. Some good and some just silly, but even those are fun to watch.
"The Godfather" One
and Two
were on. Can't miss that when it's on.
"The Untouchables" can't miss the Odessa Steps
redo sequence in that!
It was a Robert Deniro film fest.
Monster movies are here now that Halloween is getting close.
I got a list of movies I want to watch is Halloween Season:
"Black Sunday" A beautiful Bava film with a great story and atmosphere.
"Black Sabbath" This is creepier than anything that's come along in years.
"Two Thousand Maniacs!" Drive-in laughs and terror with ingenious kills, fun to watch with a group.
"Twitch of the Death Nerve" An early "slasher" film.
"Suspiria" Use of color, sets, and cinematography are wonderful.
"The Changeling" Incredible atmosphere and scary with no gore.
"Kwaidan" Beautiful set pieces and wonderful stories from Japan.
"Ginger Snaps" Lycanthropy strikes a girl when she (and her hormones) least expect it.
"Audition" I love this movie! It tripped me out! Stick around for the last 20 minutes...
"The Attic Expeditions" A neat, low-budget, direct-to-video film that has more depth to it than most films in theaters.
"Ultraviolet" Cops, Vampires, Cool.
"Dagon" Fun, tense, "fish out of water" tale with some real surprises.
"Dead Alive" Fun splatstick/horror/comedy from the director of "Lord of the Rings
" and the new "King Kong
."
