My DSL connection was down all night, so it was lonely here at my castle without the web. I even looked for some candles, then realized that there was still power and that my life hadn't come to an end.

Discovered many things that I hadn't noticed before...

Found books I had forgotten I had and never read.

Uncovered a sack of potatoes under the sink that had been purchased over three years ago. Some potatoes were now rocks, but other had grown into a thick jungle like vines.

When I opened the door under the sink, I thought there might be some critters under there, because the bushes began moving, but it just looks like these potatoes hadn't seen light before and it was blinding to them.

Took them outside and planted them in the alleyway behind my house. Later I heard screaming as if some homeless dude was being strangle by triffid-like plants while sifting through my garbage.

But I just rolled over and went back to sleep.
