I picked up the video of "Chaplin", the Attenborough movie at the library. I've seen this film probably 6 times.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new documentary that's on the DVD set of Chaplin's films. It's playing in the theater here in Hollywood this week.

He really liked the young girls back in his day, but seemed to find a winner in Oona. I read her biography and really liked the way she was discribed.

Maybe young girls were more mature back in his day. I couldn't think of spending too much time with the teenage girls I know. My head hurts just thinking about having to listen to them.

Have cast members lost that lovin' feeling for Raymond?

Production on the eighth season of Everybody Loves Raymond started with two actors missing from the first table read.

Patricia Heaton called in sick, Brad Garrett stayed away because his character, isn't in the season's first episode.

Garrett issued an ultimatum to CBS a few weeks ago, demanding a salary hike before he returned to work. The move came on the heels of his Emmy nomination.

CBS, has temporarily written Garrett's character out of the series.

He's under contract through 2004, pulls in between $150,000 and $200,000 per episode, less than any of the other regular cast members.

Ray makes something like 50 Million Dollar$ now...

Brad Garrett's my favorite on the show.

Peter Jackson is set to collect a whopping $20 million to helm a remake of King Kong.

It's the most lucrative paydays ever for a writer-director.

Jackson is currently cranking out a script for the Kong redo. The payday catapults Jackson into the ranks of Tinseltown's top moneymakers, putting him on par with such such mega-stars as Mel Gibson, Julia Roberts, and Tom Cruise, who regularly command $20 million or more per picture. The Kiwi filmmaker's Kong-sized salary even tops those of other A-list directors like Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis and M. Night Shyamalan. While those directors might eventually make more than $20 million on a monster hit, they typically forfeit most of their upfront salary and instead to clean up on the back-end.

And he wears shorts year round...

He really deserves his success, he is so nice and smart. He works hard at making his films and has fun doing what he loves.

Maybe if we all find something we love doing we'll make 20 million dollar$... I love sleeping, eating, playing with myself and watching tee vee...

Where's my check?
